-34 inch scale
-19 mm string spacing
-alder body with custom nitro paint job
-maple neck with 70s style poly coat
-maple board w/ black blocks and binding
-alleva coppolo pickups
-2-band alleva coppolo preamp
Without a doubt one of the greatest jazz basses I've ever played, love the combination of 60s features like the nitro paint job and alder body with 70s pickup spacing...replaced original bridge and tuners with black badass bridge and black hipshot tuner to match the black blocks! It's a pretty light bass, I don't have a scale but I've gotta imagine it's just around 9 pounds...
Made in 2009, it's a transition period bass as indicated by the "T" in the serial number, so Jimmy made the body in NYC (hence the smaller NYC style jazz bass body) and the neck in California.
The only imperfection is a couple of small chips in the nitro finish revealing the bluish-white coat underneath, but if you ask me it looks pretty cool and is a testament to the worldwide travels this bass has seen. Asking $4000 plus shipping. |

A beauty -- Someone will be really happy. I always wanted this one but just can't swing it right now (without risking a divorce!) |

The previous owner to Mitch had the action so low I couldent believe it played as well as it did...so it might not make you play as good as Mitch but it may get you a heck of a lot closer!
