FS: American Deluxe P 5

Bought this one recently and spent considerable time making it quieter than stock and grounding the pickups etc. Unfortunately my studio is above the furnace room, which has an air cleaning unit running at all times and neon lighting - add to that that I'm OCD about having silent instruments...and the treble control when increased has some noise. Great sounding bass but just not quiet enough for my taste and therefore sold as is. (All active basses less my Warwicks have issues in my studio; the only time I used it outside of my studio I didn't notice a noise issue).

Anyhow, this P5 shows some signs of use consistent with it's age. Sporting new set of Roto Sound strings. I bought this recently for $1000 dropped $200 on having a tech ground the pickups better, and I put in an audere pre amp (stacked Vol, stacked mids (high and low mid), treble bass, z switch). Includes a fender molded hardcase and original preamp.

$1100 Let's get this moving - $900 shipped in N. America

Great bass for the money, esp. after these upgrades are made. Highly recommended!

OK, let's give this a good price drop. Next step is me parting it out. Let's say $900 shipped in N America

I'm not a wood expert but according to specs it's Pau Ferro and it looks different from my rosewood boards.
