This is a 2000 model. Wonderful sound and OHSC. I am the second owner. The case has a cigarette odor I haven't tried to remedy (edit, per a fellow ember I took the advice of putting dryer sheets in the case and it helped a lot.) A couple of dings on the back of the neck and the g string tuner is very slightly bent (the shaft is not bent, just the part you hold and turn). All stock except for the strap buttons. It has some nice figuring on the fretboard and is a fantastic looking bass. There is a glue line visible above the pickguard if you are looking at the bass from the right angle/light, but the finish on the bass body is in excellent condition. There are a few fingernail scratches on the pickguard, but overall this bass looks like it has been played lightly. Anyway, I think I have described every issue i can find with the bass and I think anyone would be pleased to own and play this bass.

Good question. it's a sticker and can be removed. I just haven't. I bought this form the original owner and asked him the same question and he said it was there when he bought it.
