I bought this bass from builder Anthony Syme in 2004. I refinished the bass in 2009 with a hand rubbed oil finish which pulled the figuring out of the wood better than the original gloss finish. The bass came with EMG pickups and an EMG preamp. I really experimented with pickups in this bass so I will sell it with all the ones I've tried (No additional cost).

The EMG BQS system preamp has been removed and there are currently no controls on the bass. It can be reinstalled very easily though and comes with the bass. There are also no strap pins on the bass but are also easy to reinstall. I can do both for a small additional charge.
When I refinished the bass I replaned the fingerboard and it can be set up with very low action (1mm) for maximum singing tone. It's one of the best fretless basses I've ever played, recording engineers love it, very bright clean mwah attack.
