The build and tone of these basses is the best along with Fbasses and my Marleaux jazz bass......... IMHO. If you are a jobbing bass player and need to cover it all, Atelier's are the joint. I wish I had the dough Rudy cuz you know I want it. Good luck. |

sorry you had to let it go, but I am with you about the tone of these basses, I can think of a few basses, that can match build quality and best of all...the sound and tone of these beasts (jazz fender on steroids....not satin or wool...steroids! ). I wish you all the best bro, and in case you come up with the cash, shoot me an email, and we'll work it out.
peace |

things are good man, as always I am at it again.
When I first saw the bass, I also thought about the same thing, but it turned out not to be a problem at all. I personally like thumbing a the end of the fretboard, say 20th to 24th and there is lots of room for popping.
If somebody is looking for a true single coil slap sound....this is the one man.
Good to hear from you, and let me know if you need anything else....do you wanna trade the Custom warwick (ash body)..... ...just a thought!
