This bass has been around the TB block a couple of times, but it is really one of my favorite P basses that I've owned (and I've owned a bunch!). Dan does great work. Unfortunately, I need to lighten up on a few things and I just don't have the chance to play this one as much as I'd like.

Here are the specs:

Scale Length: 34"
Body Wood: Padauk
Neck Woods: Maple/Maple
Overall Weight: 10-11lbs.
Finish: Nitrocellulose lacquer
Pickup: Seymour Duncan SPB
Bridge: Gotoh 20
Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite
Nut: Fender USA Nut Width: 1.5"
Fretboard Radius: 12"
Neck Thickness: Thin (.810" at 1st fret)
Fret Size: Medium
Graphite Reinforcement: Yes
Rolled Fret Edges: Yes
Electronics: 250K CTS pots, .022 OrangeDrop tone cap
Shielding: Copper tape in all cavities, fully grounded

Don't let the weight put you off. While it's not light, it balances better than any other bass that I own and it is a real pleasure to play, sitting or standing. And the tone is huge.

There are two small finish issues that I've tried to show in the pics - one small blemish inside the top cutaway and a small scratch in the back.

These go for at least $1250 new. I'll sell it for what I have into it: $675 shipped in a gigbag to the CONUS.

The pics really don't do the grain of the wood justice. It's really deep and beautiful.

if i didnt have a mia pbass coming next month, id consider buying it back.
the white pickguard was originally my added touch, makes the wood grain really show.

Just goes to show how well you guys look after your basses, as it is in beautiful condition. I PM'd Rebass about it, and am still considering buying it. The only thing is I'm worried about it being damaged without a HSC during international shipping. It happened to me previously, with a bass shipped within Europe.

Tried to buy it, but the shipping cost put the bass beyond my reach.

Is the original black pick guard included? I love the way the black looks on the dark wood finish.
