FS: Awesome Carvin B4

For sale is a pretty new Carvin B4 this is an awesome bass and sounds and plays great. This has been my main player for awhile now and it's amazing. Selling because I found a deal I could not refuse on basically my dream bass and I have to make a bass disappear to make the fiancee happy.

The details...
2008 Carvin Custom Shop B4
Swamp Ash Body
Sunsetburst finish with matching headstock
Maple/Ebony Neck (light flames in the back of the neck)
10" Fretboard Radius
H50S Humbucking P/U's V/V/T (I have some J99 single coils I can throw in if you want)
Black Hardware
Dunlop Straplocks
Hardcase
Haven't weighed it but its got to be less than 8 lbs. I'd guess 7.5 lbs

This bass is in great condition with the only fault being a few dings in the back of the headstock. The controls have been rewired with better wire and a Sprague orange drop Cap. It is a killer player is well balanced and very light. Whoever gets this bass is going to be very very happy. I'd rather keep this as a backup and sell my other basses but got to keep harmony.

$550 Shipped Conus

I have more pics at home. If you'd like to see anymore or have any questions please ask.

Oh and trades??? a nice 4 ohm cab is about all I need. I can hide that in the bassment. I'd go for the right 8 ohm cab. Just not looking for anything much over 80lbs. Schroeder 1210 and 1212 would be perfect but I'm open to pretty much anything.

More Pics

Forgot to mention this bass has the Tung oil finish on the back of the neck. It really makes the neck feel extra comfy and fast.

Heres a few more Pics...

1.62" wide @ nut, 2.40" wide @ 22nd fret

Between a Jazz and P bass width. Feels a lot more like a jazz Neck than a chunky p bass neck.

In my opinion, this is the best neck in the business. I can easily get around a wide P neck or a skinnier J neck, but this one really is nice to play. Fast and very comfortable. No dead spots on mine which I built from a kit. It also requires less annual truss rod noodling than my other basses. Carvin's fret work is impeccable. Really high quality workmanship.

I would agree saying this is probably the best mass produced neck in the business. I'm mainly a Jazz Bass neck kind of guy but find the Carvin very comfy and don't find myself thinking about the neck at all when I'm playing(a good thing). You're right that the fretwork is spot on.

Ok had some offers but have decided to hang onto this bass. Pretty sure I'd regret selling it.
