Not sure what kind of response there will be at this point, but this is one of those basses that gets remarks like "Oh, I had that bass and wish I didn't sell it sometimes."
A Bass Collection SB301 By SGC Nanyo. It is 34" scale, 24 fret, passive, 4 string. It feels smaller than scale - relatively light feel and fast playing.
There are various light surface imperfections and a few small chips - all consistent with use over time. There is also a string mark at the first fret under the A string. This is not a play wear mark, it's a one-time compression mark and doesn't affect playability at all.
I had a metallic pink one of these — I liked how in certain light you could see a slight imperfection in the neck where the spokeshaving was about a hair off. It had a handmade quality to it that I found endearing. Not perhaps the biggest tone on the block, (although for this money a p/u replacement is a cheap experiment), but a light bass with a slim fast neck. For a good Japanese made bass $150 is a steal.
