Answer to your question:

I think its about 6.5 to 7 pounds. Pretty light. It is the same length and body of a short scale bass. It is unlike anything you've ever seen. Think of a 12 string guitar, Dulcimer, and Bass all in one. Mine is completely fretted, which I think is way better. He makes a model where the lowest string is fretless. Mine is easier to play chords.

I would trade you a bow for it, but you wouldn't be able to use it on a double bass.

Man...I want this. I have a dulcimer already...and can hardly play as well as my bass. It'd be sweet to have something like a dulcimer I can play like a bass.
