FOR SALE ONLY (no trades): SOLD on Dec 5.

Brand new Birdsong Cortobass. Made in 2010. 7.6 pounds! 31" scale. Solid mahogany body. Rear routed. Gold hardware. Hipshot Type A brass bridge (gold plated). Hipshot Ultralite tuners. 1.5" nut width. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard with dots. Thumbrest. Knobs are: volume for neck pickup, volume for bridge pickup, and 6-position Varitone selector switch (I asked Scott to use a matching knob for the Varitone switch instead of the chicken head knob just so it would match the other knobs). Plush hardshell case included. I bought this bass brand spankin new this year (custom made by Scott at Birdsong). When the bass arrived, I opened the box, put the bass in my room, and just stared at it since then. Never gigged. Never taken out of my nonsmoking home. I have probably played it for a total of two hours. I do this a lot....buy new stuff just to have it, stare at it for a while, and then turn around and sell it soon afterwards. Midlife crisis I guess (I'm 54). Oh well. There are worse habits to have I suppose. The bass is in total mint brand new condition. No dings. No dents. No scratches.

This bass, with all of the options, cost me $2200. If you are the type of person who likes to buy brand new stuff but not pay the brand new price, then this is it.

Asking price: $1750 including shipping to CONUS. I will only ship to the lower 48 states. No exceptions.

I have over 80 feedbacks on the Bay, all 100% positive. I accept Paypal.

Scott builds great basses. This must be one of the last ones with the old logo.
