Thought I'd try playing Fretless but it isn't for me

So, for sale, sorry no trades at this time, is bassically a New Birdsong Guitars Embrace 8th Anniversary Lined Fretless 32" Scale Bass Number 2 of 8

Price Reduced To $1000.00 From 1100.00.00 shipping/insurance included to the 48 Continental US

PayPal is fine, local pickup/meet I will deduct $40.00

Cost was $1400 ($1125 Bass $150.00 Lined Option $125.00 Case)

I received it about three weeks ago and have only played it a couple of times in my home

This bass is in the same exact condition as I received from Birdsong with no issues cosmetically or electronically

One note, picture shows a "line" on the back running through the low E string route

I don't know if this is a crack or just part of the wood but when I run my finger across it I don't feel anything

So, it was there before the hand rubbed finish was applied

But again, this is how I received it and I just wanted to be up front about it

I have #3 of eight. It has quickly become my favorite practice bass, so ergonomic, and so much muuaahhh! These are fantastic instruments. Somebody should get this, soon!

gotta ask...where is 'local'? also, are the side dots on the lines or between the lines?

They're between the lines. The boards on these are simply amazing. Scott and the gang at Birdsong are true artists. The Turquoise inlays in the Mesquite are exquisite.

Great deal here. That's a special, low-numbered 8th anniversary edition for the price of a regular, run of the mill one. You get a sweet, handmade fretless gem of a bass that weights around 5 lbs, and can be played all day long! And the sound! If I didn't have one already I'd be all over this! GLWS.
