I purchased this bass on TB less than 2 months ago and I have some vacation time coming up and would like to finance a nice little trip so I'm going to let this one go.
Sounds beautiful if you like hollowbodies or precisions with less compressed thump and more definition.
Great cosmetic condition, everything works fine but the tone pot is a little scratchy.
In the interest of full disclosure I must say the bridge pulled out the first day I had the bass when I was setting it up as is common with this model of bass. I glued it back in place and it hasn't moved since but couldn't get the lower post all the way in and didn't want to press too hard for fear of cracking the wood so now it's sitting about 1/8 of an inch higher than previously. No big deal and doesn't affect playability or bridge adjustability (it's mounted on a threaded stud that screws into the post) but you can notice it if you inspect the bridge. Good news is that the bridge probably won't pull out again!
