FS: Black Ex factor Kubicki in nice rare condition

Sign in to disble this ad

Very nice shape solid black Kubicki Ex Factor bass.
Stu Hamm, Duran Duran, you know the list of players......

Have a very nice bell like tone.
Electronics work nicely, action good, easy to adjust truss, and in excellent shape, maybe 9 out of 10, with some slight wear on thumb and fingers rest spots. No buckle rash(no need for buckles, do not wear em). Original case and paper work.

Rare to see one in such good shape.

Comes with nice fat strap and strap locs.
Light weight also but excellent sustain, with the 4" wide strap, you should easily play 2-4 hours without shoulder issues.

Great for tapping, funk, slap, jazz, rock etc.
But you knew all this already if you are interested right?
Selling it for the "Too many basses and not enough time" and am culling the herd down. This is my avatar so this is one of my all time favorite instruments.

1500$ obo. No trades please, see the part where I lack the time to play with a bunch of basses?????? 50$ to ship. I added fresh Kubicki strings I get from Phil directly. Action is moderately low.
There is some discoloring in the pic on the rosewood fretboard, but it not pronounced as the pic suggest in the bright sun.
This one is not all banged up, nor is the case lacking.

8.5 lbs I'd say, lighter than it looks.

Looks, and plays fine.
Some wear, but not much for a bass made in 1990. Nut is fine.
There are no issues with this bass.

Hi. I've just joined the forum (hello forum). Beautiful bass. Is it still for sale? If so would you ship to the UK, and how much would that cost?

Thanks.

Ian

If it meets the size restriction of 108" Length + girth, then yes.
I ship a fair amount of other things to the UK.
It would run about 100$ to ship USPS priority.

Box would be about 49L and then 18x8, so that's 49+18+18+8+8= 101 inches.

Weight about 20lbs etc.

So yes, right in about 90-100$

Still for sale
