This is a made-in-USA bass, made in 2006 in same factory in SLO that produces Stingray, Sterling, Bongo, etc. basses.
Main difference from the Stingray is that this bass has a slab, not sculpted body, and is passive, not active.
But for being active, you get all the tone you want out of the single MM humbucking pickup, with a 2-band EQ (volume, volume, tone, no "boost/cut").
Neck is maple (finished/painted), with a Rosewood fingerboard.
Same truss rod adjustment as Stingray, same chome control plate, and same six-screw neck plate.
Black pearloid pickguard is new, will include the original diamond plate PG, if you want it.
Shipped in Musicman case that has seen better days, but still functions and has all of the latches intact.
Great condition, no noticeable dings, not even on headstock.
How does she play? Great tone. Currently strung with D'addario Prosteels, so really bright and punchy.
Only will consider trades for other EB Musicman Basses: 4 string and fretted. If you got something, let me know.
