Given the suggestion here and the likelihood a Sad preamp will give a distinctly warmer vibe to several passive basses I own, I ordered one today. We shall see. Still for sale in the meantime.

I know it sounds hollow when the bass hasn't sold, but the Sadowsky preamp did make a difference. Kept the sound of the bass, but added just the right thickness. I am going to keep this mother. Made and plays too well...

This is easy to say when there are no offers, but I have decided to keep this puppy and part with other instruments.

The bass hangs on the wall and it should be in somebody's hands being played. Anybody have a solidbody guitar (preferably a Tele) they would like to trade for Senor Blade?
