This is a truly gorgeous ash body 4-string bass with a premium quilted maple top and headstock, plus a 5-piece neck (instead of the current Prestige which is only a 3-piece neck). It was the top of the line single pup ATK at it's time of manufacture (11/06), and now it can be yours for a fraction of the MSRP when new! This has normal string spacing, and not the usual pencil neck of the cheaper SR series basses - yet it is as fast and consistent up and down the neck. Why do you think bassists from such groups as Slipknot (Paul Gray) and Joe Bonamassa (Eric Czar) have played these monster tone machines? 3-band active electronics for a 3-coil single pup allows you to vary between clean and cutting to chainsaw madness. The 3-way toggle to switch coil selection provides a whole different dimension to it's sonic capabilities. Ideal for the the pic player or slapper, and killer for the finger player as well. I just installed brand new Dunlop nickel medium gauge stings (45-65-85-105). I'm also including a hard shell case, which is also in excellent condition, for extra support and to protect this wonderful piece of work. My thanks to you, sir! It's to the point on this (over the new ATK 750KA-NT I have listed) that IF it sells...fine. IF it doesn't sell...fine. It has the best sound and action I've yet to play on any ATK

A bump from the guy who used to own this.Playing and sounding good is an understatement for this bass.It has feather touch action and construction quality of a bass 3 times the price and you can't find a better and more honest guy to deal with.I put my word on this bass.
