Amazing bass, amazing deal. Bump - as a big fan of this axe (i have one - one of my all time favs) and a great deal. Well worth more than a grand. As good as a ric for a fraction of the price. Easiest neck with tons of toning options..... TTT

OK, dumb question, what is the weight? Not looking for exact, but a general feel. I have a Fender standard P-bass that is about 8.5+ pounds. I am looking to go a little lighter and was wondering if this could be it?

Fair question. This is one of many the reasons I was GAS-ing for one so badly. Its considerably lighter than a standard Fender and many/most other basses. Weighs "about" 7 - 7.5 lbs on my bathroom scale. Feels great and versatile around the shoulder.
