Brice (Agile) 6 string Prestige Z bass - Was a CUSTOM order! All gloss black (even the back of the neck neckthru), except for the maple fingerboard. 34" scale, 19mm string spacing.
$400 - shipping included to continental US.
Paypal accepted!
Details:
In my search for a neck-thru 34" scale 6 string bass with a maple board and 19mm string spacing, I found that such an animal does not exist in the affordable range.
So I had one made. Rondo Music of Brice fame made this for me, but had the Agile side make it because of the custom scale (34"...not the standard 35"). Black finish, black hardware, and gloss finish on body AND neck (also black - 5 piece neck thru design, though, just like the standard Brice Prestige Z line). The neck is a little thicker than I've become used to because it's a neckthru - but if you like that kind of thing, you won't be able to find anything like it out there (especially due to the maple board).
Only used it a two times - May 2009 and August 2009 (new job with extensive travel and NO time to play like before). Paid $700 new + shipping. Feel free to PM me with questions.
Thanks!
Z

Just wanted to know what electronics are currently in this bass. I just sold my BTB that I'd upgraded with an Aggie OBP-3 preamp...wondering how this bass might sound in comparison...
I'd like another six string to replace my BTB...but thanks in advance for answering my question.
God Bless....

If a bolt on HXB can go for $400, then this is priced right, especially for those of you that like an Ibanez SR vibe but can't deal with the tight string spacing for slap, and the lack of sustain on the higher strings. This has the right spacing, neckthru for better sustain, and the maple board gives it just a little extra "pop."

Since it's $400, if you want to do $100 a month for four months, when you reach $400, I'll ship it to you. Or...if you can do a little more, then you'll get it sooner.
It's pretty interesting...anytime someone has let me do payments, the $$$ seems to come in faster, and one time, was able to do it all in one shot. Some call it good karma, some call it paying it forward - I believe it's sharing the blessings.
Let me know, and thanks!

Bass is onhold - agreed to accept payments, and 1 of 4 has been received. Since Brendan did it for me, I'm "playing it forward" so stixer gets a sixer.
If anything changes, I'll update the thread.
Thanks again!
