Hey guys.

Here's a great budget six string bass that's perfect for anyone just starting with extended range basses.

You can find detailed specifications on this page.

These are great instruments and feel like they'd cost much more. I was very surprised by the quality.

The only flaws that I have found are as follows:

- There is a scratch/crack on the back of the neck, near the headstock. It hasn't impacted the playability or stability of the bass, though. It is kind of long. I used a pen in my new pictures to point it out and to indicate the approximate end points of the crack.

- There is a "chunk" missing from that hook-like feature on the body. I didn't notice this until I went downstairs to snap some photos. I'm adjusting the price accordingly. It's not very deep but is noticeable when you look in the right spot.

- There are some small scuffs and minor dents around the back and edge of the bass. They're purely cosmetic and don't really detract from the aesthetic quality of the instrument, in my opinion. I've taken pictures of every imperfection that I could find and they can be found in the updated gallery.

I'd like to get $160 shipped (PayPal is preferred) for the Brice Defiant 6 (which will include a gig bag). I'm trying to save money for an amp so I'm not looking for trades at this time.

*** Updated Photo Gallery ***

The gallery above has pictures of all of the blemishes that I could find, as well as a couple more pictures of the entire bass, body, and headstock.

Here are a couple of pictures. More can be found in this slightly outdated gallery. The bass is in the same condition as it is in that gallery, though. I'll try to take better pictures of the imperfections tonight. A lot of these pictures are blurry and the color is sort of crazy. I'll post a link to an updated gallery as soon as I get them up.

Thanks for looking!

Bump for a price decrease.

Someone has to be looking for a cheap six string that plays as well some basses costing much more!

If this is anything like the HXB-406 basses that Brice makes, then somebody is in for a nice surprise.

Bumpity

Thanks for the bump, FunkMetalBass. It is a surprisingly nice instrument!

I'm not opposed to offers so anyone that is interested should feel free to send me a PM.

Price drop!

How about $160 shipped anywhere in the continental US? I believe that you'll be surprised by this budget sixer.

Absolute steal, great basses.

It's gonna find it's way to a deserving, appreciative home, I think.

As the previous owner of this bass...I will say it was awesome! If I was even remotely a 6 string player I wouldn't have sold it in the first place. I don't think you will find a better 6er under a grand....looks great and plays/sounds great.

Almost tempted to buy it back!!
