FS: Brubaker Brute JJX5 - Price drop!

Sign in to disble this ad
I got this Brubaker Brute brand new a couple weeks ago but ended up going with something else. I had Kevin install a white pickguard on it when I bought it instead of the black, for that clean white on white look. I paid $600 a couple weeks ago, but I'm selling it for $375 shipped in the original box to the 48 states. Paypal only.

Here's a couple quick pics:

How'd you like it? What's the scale length and electronics?

34" scale length, electronics I believe are proprietary. It has nice low action with a fast neck, and a solid feel to it. Here's some more info on the Brubaker website:

Does it sound like an active jazz?

Yep, has a modern jazz tone. Not too scooped sounding though, has a good amount of aggressive upper mid grind.

I'm interested. I know you want to move it quickly, but if it hangs around, I just might take it off of your hands.

Definitely more of a jazz bass tone.

Wow-thats amazing! I usually like more contrast with white bodies (black pg/rosewood board) but the white-on-white with the maple board is simply gorgeous!

Bump for a beauty!
