Hey Y'all,
Not like I'm not in a constant enough state of flux but I'm feeling the need to shake things up more than usual. I've got 6 basses and two of those are off limits right now but even though I'm a big fan of the other four, some have got to go. I've got a new G&L exactly to my prefs on order so some have got to go. And I can't pick and choose between them so I'll put all four on the block and see what goes and what stays (if any - I could live with just 2 until my order gets completed and then decide what's next).
So here they are:
This is my Tribute "CB-3". It's a Tribby SB2 with a DiMarzio Will Power neck pickup added. Controls are vol/vol/vol/tone with extra tone switch that applies to the neck humbucker only (stole the idea from the Yamaha Billy Sheehan bass).

Beautiful SB-2 in blueburst with a very figured maple board and neck. Slim satin 1.5" nut width neck and reasonable 9.2lbs weight. Great SB2 tone and so new to me that it's still vol/vol. Hardshell case and COA. A chip on the point of the headstock and a few marks on the bottom edge of the body (same edge/area as the strap button).

Gorgeous SB-1 in burst/maple (you be the judge of whether you think it's tobacco burst with no red or 3-tone burst with red) that could be a sibling of the blueburst SB-2 as the fretboard and neck is a great figured maple as well. Also a 1.5" nut width slim satin neck. About 9lbs even. Not much wear at all and a hardshell case included.

One of a kind semihollow JB2 prototype. Fullerton red with a rosewood board. As is usual for me a 1.5" nut width neck with satin finish. Nice and light at 8.2lbs. While I think the f-hole gives it a really classy look and probably contributes to the light weight it sounds like a JB2 to me (the same thing I read about the ASAT SH - sounds the same as the solid body ASAT). Not that that's a bad thing, mind you and it is one of a kind. Hardshell case and COA for this one. Excellent condition.

OK, that's the lot. Potential trades:
- fretless G&L (1.5" nut width, satin neck, 9lbs or less and prefer L2K but will consider all)
- fretted US G&L L2K (1.5" nut width, satin neck, 9lbs or less)
- Carvin BR12 combo
I'm to the point where I think I'm ready to buy a couple of new G&Ls that are exactly what I want and call it good (famous last words

).
