I picked this up simply because I had never tried a Callowhill before. Really sweet sounding and playing bass, but one of my former basses is back on the market and I'm going to pick it back up.

Here is the original thread where I bought it. It has all the info about the bass plus more pictures.

Callowhill

Lets say $1199 shipped. No trades please.

Actually, when it was picked up off of eBay one or two owners ago, it was only $900 or $999. May have even been less.

not to be a jerk, but does this fall under the "you can't tell the seller he's charging too much" rule? if not, it's blurring the line somewhat.

Well, I sold it to jesusrocksbass. I bought it from portraitoftracy here on the TB forums for $1100.00. Then I paid to have the original preamp re-installed, and the frets whipped back into into shape. (brought back up to specs). All I can say IMHO is, it's fair price to pay. A very nice bass.

The only reason I'm selling this bass is because I'm getting a bass back I regret getting rid of. No regrets on the purchase of this bass. It sounds and plays amazing.

Payment on hold....
