Guys, I received this red rose in a trade a few months ago. This Fender BG-31 is 32" scale and "concert size" per the original thread:
This bass has been played but not abused. There are some scratches and dings, mostly shown in the pics. Not quite as pristine as I thought, but from any distance at all you really can't tell.
I despaired over the buzzy G string until I tweaked the truss rod. Voila! Buzz-free. Turns out there was zero relief in the neck. Now at 0.010" it all works! As with most acoustics, the action feels a touch high to an electric player. Definitely nice feel and tone with the tapewound strings. Intonation goes sharp a few cents as you ascend the fretboard.
This puppy sounds pretty darn authoritative through my Eden/Aguilar rig. The preamp has three-band EQ.
The Roadrunner gig bag still has tags on. It's a bit oversized, more intended for a dreadnought I think.
