SOLD!

After three months time, I find that a 19mm string spacing just doesn't work well with my right-hand technique, so I've decided to sell this beautiful Carvin B50 fretted bass.

The bass has no dings, scratches or belt rashes at all. The only alteration I've made was to have the pickup cavity shielded by a tech at the time I tried the H50A pickups. I have since had the original J99A pickups re-installed.

I recorded a series of videos with this bass on youtube that should give a good idea of this bass' tone quality.

Oh BTW, my name is on the truss-rod cover, so you'll have to order one from Carvin (ten bucks).

I take Paypal or cashier's check.

Edit: The bass weighs in at 9.7 lbs on my scale.

Here are the specs from the Carvin web site:

It is a great bass, and the 19mm spacing is the only drawback for me. I'm just now sure how long it would take for me to adjust.

For anyone interested in this new line of Carvin basses, this is a great deal. You could have it in days instead of months!

I've received a couple of inquiries about trades, something that I hadn't really considered.

I would only be interested in basses with 34" scale necks, 18mm or less string spacing, and a body weight of under ten pounds. I tend to favor maple boards and bolt-on necks.

However, I also have some interest in a nice acoustic/electric bass such as a Rob Allen, or a combo amp along the lines of an EA iamp800c.
