FS: Carvin B50 w/ SB5000 Electronics

Up for sale is my Carvin B50 with the SB5000 electronics package, the Icon headstock and the crème pups. A great 5-string J bass! I’ve owned this bass now for around 20 months, and have used it in he studio 3 or 4 times and in a church service environment twice.
My other basses are covering my current playing requirements, and for about the last 6 months, the Carvin has been sitting in its case in my closet. This instrument is too beautiful for that – it needs to be seen and played!

No issues of any kind with this bass. It plays as pretty as it looks, and I’m hard pressed to find any marks on the instrument at all! It comes with an original G&G HSC, which is also in great shape. Here’s a link to the original TB ad with more specific information:

Questions were received about the weight. According to my digital bathroom scale, it's 8.8 lbs.

I think my son and I are gonna do the kit as a father/son project. Just thought it was really ironic that I held on to the $$ I had for a month waiting for a B50 to show up in the classifieds, and two days after I finally give in and order, TWO show up in my price range! Just my luck!

Maple neck/fingerboard. How are the frets? Any sharp edges?

None - no issues whatsoever. Really as pristine as the day I got it from Krovx.

Didn't know the Icon headstock was an option. Much improvement over the standard kit headstock.

Great looking B50! I bet it sounds fantastic. Carvin really should offer a 6-string version. I'd be all over that.

Thanks, bassguyky48 - it's a beauty indeed! And it finally stopped raining here - sun shining and 60 here now.

I've received a number of offers/requests for lower price. I'll go $600 + actual shipping, meaning the closer you are to AZ the lower your price will be. Locals would get a bodacious deal!
