FS: Carvin BB75 - Greenburst

Sign in to disble this ad
Mid 90's Carvin Bunny Brunel 5-string
Neckthrough Mahogony. Not sure of body wings material. Neck is gorgeous feeling oil finish.

Ebony fretboard
Schaller locking tuners
Custom Bartolini radius'd pickups out of a Zon Sonus.
Glockenklang 3-band preamp with passive tone control
Full fret-leveling and recrown/polish
19mm bridge spacing (adjustable)
I believe 1 3/4" Nut width
34" Scale
Active/passive bass
Currently strung with new set of D'addario ProSteels

This bass has a very full and meaty tone, but yet has a very clear and shiny top end. The Glockenklang makes it very adaptive tonally.
Bass has been played but in excellent condition for it's age. Has a couple light markes on the back of the bass and normal light hazing on front under strings from playing.

$650 shipped and insured. Will ship in a padded gig bag. No trade. Paypal accept.

Very pretty bass. At $650 that is one hell of a deal, especially with the mods.

Too bad I don't play 5's, but good luck with the sale.

Whoa! What finish is that? I know ti says greenburst but Carvin's greenburst is green/black not green/blue (unless the picture shows blue where it actually isn't. I've been wondering if Carvin offered something like that but their color guide doesn't show anything like it. It looks like a dark dragonburst. Any chance at some soundclips? Either way, that's a beautiful bass!

This looks like a lot of bass for the money. Could you post some closer photos so we can get a better look at the details and condition?

What happened to the hardshell case? Or didn't it come with one?

You just got the bass I really wanted, but had no money when it came up.
