Hey there... I am selling my old reliable 1993 Carvin LB75(Hawaiian Koa Wood with Tung oil finish) . I did replace the electronics with the Bartolini 5 STRING J STYLE PICKUPS and the Aguilar OBP-3 (3 Band) Onboard Preamp (2 Pickup - 4 knob / 1 switch Configuration)...all purchased from Best Bass...and sounds really warm or modern if desired. The electronics change alone was well over $300. There is a lot of normal 16 year wear on the bass around the usual areas. The bass has great low action....frets are still fine...had a set up done about a month ago with NYC Luthier Manny Salvador. Here are the stats from the Carvin Museum Site: http://www.carvinmuseum.com/decade/images/93-lb75.html NO LONGER FOR SALE
A couple of pics from recent gigs with her...the bass that is...LOL!!! I am actually selling the bass to contribute to a new Carvin Fretless I am saving up for ...I was going to have the frets pulled but rather not chance it.

Plus if you are handy, sand the worn spots (and lightly sand the rest of the bass)...fresh coats of Tung oil and she be lookin good as new......

* Can you post some better photos of the bass?
* Specifically photos of any major wear/dents/dings.
* Specifically photos of the new hardware installation would be great so I can see how well the job was done.
* Any case included? |

I may be able to get some pics out this weekend.

Does yours have an all-koa neck?
Looks like yours has the Sperzel tuners, I wish they still used those-makes restringing a breeze!
