FS: Carvin LB76 six string bass

$699 including shipping to the continental US only.

This bass sounds great and plays great. The sound is very even across the strings and from top to bottom.

I've had this bass for a number of years. It's only been out of the house a few times. It is for sale because I don't need it for any gigs I do as a professional bassist.

The original bridge and preamp have been replaced with the currently available Carvin parts. The preamp has a three-band eq, boost and cut.
The work was done by Mike Lull (which means it was done right).

Controls are volume, volume, treble, middle, bass.
The bass uses one 9V battery.

It has a few cosmetic scuffs and dings. The neck is smooth as a baby's bottom.

The price includes a case which is a little scratched up because it took an airplane trip to Seattle to get the work done on the bass. Otherwise, it's been in a big pile of cases that were in storage.

It currently has DR strings on it:

I'm thinking about getting into a 6 again for some "contemporary jazz and maybe at church. I don't want to spend a lot, but want a decent bass.

Thoughts?
