For sale Carvin SB4000 Bass. It has the passive / active option with treble and bass boost. This is one of the best sounding 4 string Jazz basses out there. Tone is insane in both active and passive mode. The bass has an ash body, maple 34 scale neck, platinum gold metallic finish (no longer available color from Carvin (Shoreline Gold)), birdseye maple fingerboard, tung oil neck finish, creme J99A alnico pickups, white pickguard, chrome hardware, and hardshell case (one latch missing tab).

Great slap and finger tone. Very versatile electronics and overall thunderous bass. You will not be able to find a better sounding and playing four string for under $2500.

This bass has been played and was professionally gigged for almost a year, but looks, plays, and sounds great.

That isn't me. That is a the original owner of the bass that I bought it from. He is a professional bassist who plays with Maxwell and other top artist.

I cut off his face because I didn't ask his permission to use his image in this sale.
