I was able to find a Warwick locally, so this I wanted to open a new thread as my plans have changed a bit. These are mostly for sale, but I will consider partial trades for a cheap bass that I can take with me when traveling. A pbass would be great (MIM, Squier, Peavey, frankenbass something along those lines), but I would consider others. The only thing that I'm not really interested in would be a passive jazz. I would be willing to go up to $150 (give or take) for a partial trade. Now, on with the important stuff:

I think that I've finally decided that I don't get along with passive jazz-style basses.

I picked this one up used a while back, but I have to say, it looks like it's in new condition to me. I can't find any scratches or dings, truss works well and it's in all around good condition. It was set up for BEAD tuning when I got it so the nut may have been filed for the strings, but I've had it strung standard since I've had it and haven't had any issues (pics below). You'll get the boomers that are on it now and the Warwick Low B set that it was strung with when I got it.

This one is a little hefty at 11 lbs. 5 oz, but it doesn't feel that heavy to me. It balances very well.

Since I didn't build it, I this is my best guess of the specs:

Base Model Options Quantity Price
SB4000
Right Handed 1 $849.00
-MA - Maple Neck/Alder Body (Standard) $0.00
-CG - Clear Gloss Finish (Standard) $0.00
B - Jet Black $0.00
-TN - Tung Oil Finish Back Of Neck (Standard) $0.00
-SBH - SB-Style Headstock (Standard) $0.00
BPH - Black Painted Headstock $30.00
-EB - Ebony Fingerboard (Standard) $0.00
-DI - Dot Inlays (Standard) $0.00
-FR - Med-Jumbo Frets .048" H .103" W (Standard) $0.00
-R12 - 12in Fretboard Radius (Standard) $0.00
-J9A - J99A Alnico Single Coil Pickups (Standard) $0.00
-BLK - Black Pickups $0.00
BC - Black Hardware $30.00
-4011 - Nickel Roundwound .040 .060 .080 .100 $0.00
BL - Black Logo $0.00
HC8W - Black Tolex Wide Hardshell Bass Case $69.00
Custom Shop Total: $978.00

I'm going to put this at a rock bottom price of $625 shipped in the OHSC.

Sorry, but US only, no exceptions!

Paypal is greatly preferred, but we can discuss other options if necessary.

I can take more pictures if there is anything specific you'd like to see.

Sorry for all of the dust, but I really did clean it before taking pics!

G&L Tribute L2500

While 5's are nice, I really don't need more than 4 at the moment. I'm sure I'll pick another one up in the future.

This Korean Tribute L2500 is a great bass. Very comfortable and sounds just like a G&L should. The finish is in excellent condition with a few fine scratches that are really hard to see and mainly on the back. I believe that it's had the jack replaced as it is nice and tight. I also have a receipt for when the previous owner had the through body holes professionally enlarged a tad for the B & E strings. I have also added a shim to the neck and now the action is crazy low (at least IMO)! This will ship with the original G&L gig bad and I even have the hang tag and owner's manual that I'll include.

It's currently strung with Spector Stainless Steel Strings.

Weight is between 10 & 11 lbs.

This is priced to move at $400 shipped! Sorry, but this is continental US only. As stated above, I will consider partial trades (up to $200 or so) for a nice cheap bass that I can take with me while traveling.

The Carvin is still on hold!
