FS: CB - Cliff Bordwell D-Bass 4 String

For Sale: Cliff Bordwell 4-String "D – Bass". The construction and craftsmanship on this bass is simply incredible! The bass is in excellent condition. The only really noticable cosmetic flaw to be found on this bass is where the prior owner had the strap button on the upper horn relocated to improve balance. According the previous owner, the task of relocating the strap button and filling the original strap button hole was professionally performed by Carey Nordstrand of Nordstrand Guitars. The work is superb, although there is some obvious discoloration where the wood filler within the original hole does not quite match the surrounding wood. I can attest to the awesomeness of this bass! Extremely fast neck, amazing feel, great tone. I know I bump every CB bass thread on this forum, but this one stands apart from the other CB's I've tried. Rmichael is also an outstanding seller to do business with--quick response time, knowledgeable and an all-around nice guy!

I'm the original owner of this bass. I also had the neck re-shaped by Carey, as it was a little chunky. Now, the neck is incredible. Killer sound, and a steal at this price. I wouldn't say the hole filling of the strap button was "professionally performed"...we just wiped some putty in there, let it dry, and sanded it with 600 grit. It came out great though. You woudn't really notice it if you weren't looking. Last time I saw it, it was mint. GREAT bass here folks...someone snatch this up quick! The top is INSANE in person.
