For sale (no trades on this one): A "Crafted in Japan" Fender Mustang Bass, which I believe dates to around 2006 or 2007. I'm the second owner, and the only issue with this bass is that the first owner put stickers and paint on the pickguard. He attempted to remove them, which left the guard pretty scratched. It also still has some white paint on it, partially scratched off. (If it bothers you, new ones can be purchased for 25 to 45 dollars, according to a quick search.) Otherwise it's great: sounds good, plays good, no other issues at all.
Summary:
The bad: pickguard is ugly.
The good: everything else.
No case, but I'll pack it well. $450 shipped. Please ask any other questions. Thanks!
More pics to come if needed. Thanks!

I think I've got this priced so someone could try out the short scale thing, but still make their money back if they wanted to down the road.

| | | | Ooooooo. Been looking at Mustangs for a while, unfortunately neer got to actually play one as yet.
So, two questions:
1) What does it sound like/feel like/play like (compared to some basses I'd probably hae played) and,
2) Would you ship to Australia? If yes, aproximate price to east coast (brisbane region)?
Thanks heaps. |

As for the other question, to me these have a very P-bass like tone. The low E is a little different sounding to my ears, due to 30" scale. But it sounds (and the neck feels) like a vintage Fender for the most part. Quote:
