FS: Ernie Ball Classic Stingray 5 - Price Drop $1400 Cash local sale

Sign in to disble this ad
Recently took this bass in on a trade. The only reason I am selling it is because I own another one just like it Black/Birdseye Maple. I like mine so much I took this in trade but realize now it's ridiculous to have two so here it is.

Ernie Ball Classic Stingray 5. Weighs in right at 10lbs. The mute assy. was taken off because in order to get the action real low the B & G strings were hitting the mutes. The mute assy. has been misplaced but you can always but one directly from Ernie Ball for about $20. They are available. Ships in Musicman case.

Looking for $1500 $1450 shipped.
Local sale $1400 Cash only

These classics really have the sound of the Pre-Ernie Ball Vintage Stingrays. I have received alot of compliments on the sound of this bass.

I just picked up one of these in Mint Green / Maple board yesterday. Really amazing tone and feel from them! Might trade it for a powder blue one, but yeah, I love it. Took it to a gig 40 mins after getting it too, and didn't even have to think about setup or anything, just plug n play.

I felt at home on mine as soon as I got it as well. Awesome bass. I just do not need 2 of them.

I meant at the gig... no EQ messing around or anything. Just got it there, plugged it in, set gain/volume to taste and was happily enjoying what my ears were receiving

I can't believe this bass has not sold at a few hundred dollars below store retail. Like I said before I love this bass but I just don't need 2 of them.

I am keeping the one I purchased brand new and paid full price for. Got it on my birthday and I paid another $100 to have it set up just the way I like it. The bass I am selling is just as nice but I am not attached. I took it in a trade for a 70's P Bass I was selling. It was a impulse thing because I like mine so much. I should have just sold the P Bass.
