FS: Conklin Groove Tools GT-7 for $725 plus shipping.
Up for sale is my Conklin seven string active bass - master volume, bass, treble and balance. The bass has a gorgeous quilted Maple top over an highly Swamp Ash body, Purpleheart & Wenge neck and Purpleheart fingerboard. Comes with Schaller straplocks, a heavy duty Levy strap and gig bag. Bass has a bare minimum amount of dings. It sounds incredible and chords are a breeze. Action is low and intonation is set perfectly. Standard 34" scale and Bartolini pickups - everything is bone stock (well, except for the Schallers I guess... - but I do have the originals if you want them too)
Unlike the standard "yellow" tinted Groove Tools basses, this one has a great clear coat over the Maple and Swamp Ash. Currently strung "B" through high "F" with Conklin Snakeskin strings, the strings are "newish" and I have three Conklin high "F" spare strings - two extra-light and a standard - both high "F" strings are plain steel (not wound) and that allows you to go to just about any music store chain to get a stainless 6 string set for a new set of strings instead of waiting for anyone to ship you a full set.
Anyway, I'm playing more acoustic upright now and I'm putting all of the sales into upgrading to an Upton La Scala Hybrid.
