Cort Performer Series 5-string Fretless
Black, Rosewood FB.
EMG P/J (not sure about model).
EMG preamp (not sure about model), Vol/Blend/Bass/Treble.
Ebony thumbrest along bass side of pickups.
Comes with a no-name gig bag in good condition.
I bought this new in the early 80's I believe, so it was probably made in 1982 or so.
Good condition, except a scratch/gouge in the P pickup (pictured). Other than that, the finish is pretty good for a bass of its age, especially considering it's black. The neck is actually pretty nice, and the finish is nice and smooth. The pickups both have black pickguard material surrounds to cover up the previous rout, which was for soapbars.
Not a mwah machine, this is more of a deep, thick almost upright sounding bass, more Tony Levin than Jaco. Cheap old bass, but it sounds suprisingly good with the EMG pickups.
