FS: Cort B5 Wenge and Peavey Millenium 5 USA

Two basses for sale. 1st one is a Cort Artisan B5 - mighty mite pickups, 2 band active eq with a mahogany body. What shines on this is the all Wenge neck. The neck is worth the price of the bass alone. Has been recently professionally setup. The previous owner, though, decided for some reason to cut off half of the backplate presumably for access and take off the headstock logo. Doesn't effect the sound of the bass and I've been two lazy to make a custom replacement for it, though I did ask my local Cort dealer and they couldn't come up with anything. Everything else is good, no major blemishes, everything works fine, neck is straight. $200 + shipping.

Second bass should need no introduction. Peavey Millenium 5 with a maple board. Comes in a decent condition hard shell case. 35" scale 17.5mm spacing. Everything else is in excellent condition, bought from a fellow TBer. No dings, nicks. Neck is straight, no fret wear, has elixirs on it. There are a couple of small scuffs on the headstock that my camera would not pick up but that's about it. Just moving toards the traditional tonally so, it needs to go. $450 plus shipping.

Only trades considered would be for a Warwick 5 streamer standard or maybe a corvette.

Did you get that from CB56? IF so, that is my old bass. I just might buy it back!

I think so actually. You should, I play more traditional Ska now so I have to have the P sound, otherwise it's a fantastic instrument.

I can vouch for that Millennium. I cannot weigh more than 9 lbs. The neck is super fast, and the body shape is very comfortable with no neck dive. I definitely has a bit of a modern tone but can get pretty dark and dubby too.

My B5's back plate was like that from the factory. I've been told it was to gain access to the battery by removing only 3 screws... Great bass... if I had 200...

Yep, that Millennium is my old one and if I had the money I'd buy it back. It's a good one.

Pretty tight. Somewhere in the 16 - 17mm range.

Also, it is cb56's old bass. I've owned 3 milleniums and it's the best of the bunch by far. I just can't use it for my current band.
