FS: Custom Built Jazz Bass (Fender Clone)

I have decided to part with my favorite bass to raise some needed cash. I built this from parts about two years ago. The body is swamp ash with a Tru-Oil finish. Pickups are SD Quarter Pounders. It is wired V/V/T with a push/pull switch on the neck volume pot for series/parallel. The neck is P bass width at the nut (1 5/8"). It also has a high mass bridge and Schaller strap lock buttons. It is in excellent shape with only a few minor surface scratches on the front. There is one small spot on the back that has been filled in with wood filler due to a mishap when I was building the bass. Overall this bass plays and sounds fantastic. It does have a Fender decal on the headstock. If you are a Fender purist and find this a turn off I will gladly remove the decal and either replace with a custom made decal or leave it blank. Includes a Kaces polyfoam zippered bass case. Asking $400 shipped in the US. Paypal only. Only trade I'm really interested in is an Ampeg PF-115he cabinet to go with me new PF-350 head. Feel free to PM with any questions.

Bump with price drop to $425 shipped in US. Will also trade for an Ampeg PF-115he cabinet. (That's the only cabinet I'm interested in as I just picked up a PF-350 head and have one PF-115he on the way. I would like a second one to complete the rig.)

Bump.

I really hate to part this out because it is such a nice bass. I may end up going that route though.

Sunday afternoon bump with another price drop. Now $400 shipped! This is about as low as I'm willing to go. Get a great bass for less than the cost of a MIM Fender.
