FS: Custom John Wymore '54-style PJ in SFG, sweet PJ

**SOLD**

This bass was originally bought new by TB's own bdogtoh who described it like this when he put it up for sale:

One of the nicest PJs I've ever had. This was built by John Wymore of Wymore Guitars/Black Rose Customs fame. The neck is Jazz-width with a birdseye maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, the fingerboard edges are nicely rolled and very comfortable. Frets have no wear, neck is straight and easily adjustable. The body finish is a nice seafoam green and the bass is lightweight - around 8.5 lbs. Tuners are light Hipshot reverse vintage, bridge is a Hipshot vintage style, pickups are Aero Instrument P and Lindy Fralin humcanceller J, with stacked vol/tone controls for each pickup. The controls are based on early 60's Jazz stackpot wiring and the tone controls only affect the pickup they are wired to, so you can tame the highs on just one of the pickups - very useful and it sounds great. There are a couple of very small dings and chips (see pics below) but overall the condition is quite clean. Comes in a really nice TKL gigbag and it'll be packed very carefully.

This is one of the very best sounding and playing PJs I've ever come across, I can't believe I need to sell it.

I had a new nut cut for it and had it set up.

Asking $775/bo, shipped & paypal'd to the lower 48. No trades.

Argh... that's exactly the kind of bass I'm looking for but I just don't have the money on hand. I'm thinking of selling my SVT4Pro/HLF rig though....

Anyhow, bump for a cool bass.
