I have for sale a (made in 2003) Crafted In Japan Fender Precision Bass in the blue flower sparkle finish. It has been heavily modified by the PO and others.
It has:
Leo Quan Badass III bridge conversion
Hipshot vintage-style tuners
A Hammon Dark Star pickup -

There are a few problems with the bass, but nothing serious at all. This bass gigged with the PO. There are some nicks and gouges to the finish only (not the wood), best seen in person. They are noticeable, but not really huge, and do not at all impact the playability of this bass. It is the best playing bass I have ever owned and I am selling it solely because I need the money. The input jack cup is also messed up, but I have a Fender replacement new in the bag. The clear pickguard is missing currently, as well as the pickguard screws - I think it looks better without it.

I would very, very, VERY much prefer to sell this locally, and thus would be more flexible on the price to someone local to the San Francisco Bay Area. I am in downtown San Jose. I will only ship it if I can't find a local buyer, but am willing to take my time and home this bass to someone who will enjoy it. If you are local and would like to come see the bass that is acceptable.
