FS: Custom P Bass, Birdseye Maple Warmoth Neck with Brass Nut. *** Price Drop***

**** Price has been reduced by $50 $75 Have you seen this neck????

**** Added: I will also throw in an almost new set of 2011 MIM Fender P pick-ups.

This was a real tough decision, but I need to put this custom P Bass up for sale. I just built my own custom Precision and can only keep one. This bass flat out rocks!

The Warmoth neck is unbelievable.

So here's the story. I bought it from well known TB'er and respected bass builder, Joe Milstein, a few months ago. The original listing was pulled, so I can't refer you to it, but I have copied Joey's original description below. I can't really describe it any better, but I can confirm everything he said in the listing. I've been playing a lot of Precision's lately, and this is one of the best playing and sounding I've come across. Looks killer, too! The birdseye maple neck catches your eye from across the room.

So here's the original listing and my pictures.

OK TB Brothers and Sisters....

This one took a while, but the result is WONDERFUL.

Check out this amazing custom instrument!
(This is not a Fender, but a custom build and blows away my MIA Fender Ps [IMHO of course])

What we have here is a newer super looking “TRUE” Blue Precision Bass (est 2010) in excellent shape (minimal wear) with a white parchment p/g. It sounds amazing with vintage style bridge, chrome control knobs (V/T) & vintage style precision pickups.

NOW CHECK OUT THIS NECK ENSEMBLE: Add to this bass an amazing, top-of-the-line, Birdseye Maple Warmoth Precision Neck w/ matching maple fret-board PLUS Awesome Schaller Chrome Machine Head Tuners, PLUS a Brass Nut and you have a truly one-of-a-kind, spectacular bass.

Then throw on some brand new DR Lo-Riders (MLH 45) Stainless Steel Round-wound strings (.100s) and the prize is complete.

Sounds, Looks, Feels and plays amazing. A true Precision Bass work of art (IMHO) and one that sounds exactly what you want from a solid high-end P bass.

It was just thoroughly set up and re-examined by one of the greatest technicians in NJ – my main man Chris at Be Sharp Guitars….for extra validation and approval…. ready to rock, ready to roll.

Very proud of the result. Please feel free to come check her out if you are in the NJ area.

34” scale. Weighs @ 8.8 lbs on my bathroom scale. Nut width is 1.6875”.

What more can I say? If you have any questions, please let me know - - send me a PM.

The bass will be packed and shipped securely and professionally using USPS/FedEx or UPS.

Asking $550 o/b/o shipped CONUS.

Thanks and Enjoy!

$525. $475 Price has been reduced to $450 shipped. CONUS only. The neck by itself would almost cost you that. You will not be disappointed in this bass.
The Blue Beast rocks!

Haha. I'd offer the puppy as part of the deal, but that might get me in more trouble than I'm already in for having too many basses. LOL

Oh yeah, this neck is awesome. I always wanted to find out what the big deal was about Warmoth necks and now I understand. Plus it just looks awesome.

I honestly don't know. Presumably MIJ/MIK. It's neck pocket appears to be perfect, it fits great, and it's super light. The whole bass is 8.8 lbs.

Not that this bass needs them, because it sounds great now, but I will also throw in a nice, almost new, set of MIM Fender P pick-ups.

No joke though, neck and tuners alone justify this price...

Yes, Warmoth necks have stiffening rods, either steel or graphite. Not sure which is in this one, but this neck is light and solid as a rock!

Let's review:
Killer rare True Blue P Bass
Gorgeous Warmoth Birdseye Maple Neck
Brass nut
Schaller tuners
Ready to rock as is, then
Reduced price by $50
Throw in extra Fender MIM pups
Throw in nice 3" leather strap

What's it going to take to move this? Are the TB classifieds dead?
