I bought and modded this bass to use in my honkabilly band project, but I'm going with a Dano. It needs nothing but someone to plug it in and wail on it.

You can look for a deal on a stock CV Precision then refinish it, find a headstock deal and have it applied, change out all the pots and wiring, and install a Rio Grande pup and a set of TI Flats...

What are the electronics upgraded with? CTS?

Also whats the refin done with? Looks great.

pots are 250K CTS with improved grounding.

The capacitor was replaced with either a Sprague or orange drop .047 according to my tech guy who did the work.

Refin was done by a local custom paint and body shop just like a new streetrod.
