FS: Customized USA Peavey Cirrus Lined Fretless 5 - Flamed Walnut

Greetings TB! I'm putting up my 2002 Peavey Cirrus lined fretless 5 to help fund a double bass purchase. I am the second owner of the bass and have loved it since I purchased it. The tone always brings compliments! The first owner had 2 professional mods done: It has a ramp between the pickups (can be removed) and accepts strings through the body, as well as on top. It has the looks to match the killer playability and tone that is common to all USA Cirrus basses I've played. The bass is in very good condition, with some light player wear. There are 2 small dings on the bottom (shown in pics) and some light surface scratches on the top that I couldn't capture with the camera. All flaws are purely cosmetic, the bass plays and sounds flawless. OHSC is included.

Got that right! It's extremely versatile... really covers all the basses (quite literally )

Just want to add, I would definitely trade this bass for a fretted Modulus Genesis 5 w/ maple board in great condition, possibly a USA Fender Jazz 5, maybe other 5 string fretted basses, so if you have a 5 string trade in mind feel free to throw it out.

I have a fretless alder maple cirrus sixer that is pretty dang badass. it can be heard here, www.myspace.com/outofio. it sounds the best on small world song towards the end. I bet this one sounds just as awesome.

The neck profile is pretty flat, which gives comfortable access to all the strings, and feels great in the hand. I own a beautiful Roscoe LG3005 which has a very similar neck profile, and, for illustration purposes, the Warwick I used to own had a much thicker, chunky, less comfortable neck profile. It's one of the best things about the bass imo.
