This bass needs a new home! Danelectro DC Bass from the 1999-2001 Korean series. Silver Metalflake finish, pretty much in showroom condition--I cannot find any dings or scratches on it at all. I am the second owner and it has been kept in a smoke free environment and has never been gigged. (The original owner bought it to learn to play and never got around to it, and I've had it now for a few years.) It looks, sounds and plays great--I just don't have a need for it at the present time.

This bass has a 34" scale neck, and is often called the "poor man's Ric." It's also got a lot of "thump" and "twang" when you dial those tones in, and is more versatile than their shortscale models. If you'd like more info on the DC Bass, you can certainly find that at danguitars.com

Also, this is my first sale on TB, although I have been on the site for years and have bought several basses here, but somehow never got around to the feedback thing. So if you have any questions for me, I'll be happy to try to answer them.

$325 shipped, including a decent gig bag that fits it pretty well. NO TRADE OFFERS, PLEASE.

dude, this bass is tight. i would love to buy it... just bad timing...i am planning on plunking $650 on a used road worn jazz bass...

quick question though... the neck has an adjustable truss rod, correct? the neck is straight and there aren't any issues?

Yes, it has a truss rod (although, like most Danos you need to remove neck to access it). I've never had to adjust it--the neck is straight, no buzzes, no issues.

Is the neck closer to J or P bass width?

It's actually closer in shape and feel to a Rickenbacker neck. It is 1 5/8" at the nut, but stays relatively narrow all the way down. Very comfortable to play.

Bump for a nice bass. I am saving up for another one here in Canada or I'd be interested.
