FS: Darkstar Hollowbody Artcore

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently picked this up to add to my Darkstar bass collection, but need funds for a new BigAl so this goes back on the block.
A lovely well balanced hollowbody (extender bracket works like a charm), weight is around 8.25 lbs, with that quintessential
darkstar-in-the-sweetspot sound. Audible unplugged as well which is nice. With chrome flats and a large bodied hardshell case.

This will be at $425 by money order, shipping on your dime.

This is either the DS-1 or DS-2, more likely the DS-1 as its not a short scale.

I have this same model bass with the Darkstar and I'll second that it sounds phenomenal. The bass is light and feels great to play. I really like the neck profile.

At the risk of slight derailment (and in exchange for the promo/bump), could you tell me more about the extender block? A PM would be fine so as to keep the thread on track.

Thanks

no problem. this bass already had the "steinberger extender" on it. Its a great simple elegant thing, more a metal hook than a block. Balances great. Dont know if this is still an item you can buy or not...btw, bass is still available.
