FS: Dillion Thunderbird & Brice Explorer

Sign in to disble this ad
Dillion Thunderbird: Japanese-made set-neck T-Bird copy. Quality-wise, it's right there with the Gibson Studio T-Birds, and blows Epiphones out of the water. Neck pickup has
been replaced with a Seymour Duncan. A 9V holder was cleanly installed in the back, but it's been returned to a passive circuit now. Looks like the output jack was relocated from the side to the top. PRICE DROP - $400 OBO

Brice Explorer: Korean-made set-neck Explorer bass copy. Very similar in construction to the Dillion, and nicer than any contemporary Epi. Missing truss rod cover. $200 - SOLD

These deserve to belong to someone more metal than I. Feel free to PM me with any questions. I might be interested in trades, and my wishlist includes: Germanium Assmaster, Malekko Omicron Fuzz, Octron 2, Micro POG, SFT, MJM Britbender or China Fuzz, Devi Ever stuff, various fuzz pedals, anything vintage and Japanese, hollow-and semi-hollow basses, quality pedalboards (Pedaltrain Jr. or larger, anything from NYC Pedalboards, etc.), a Pedal Power 2+, a Korg MicroKorg (or maybe Alesis Micron), or maybe a pro audio snake.

So, my plan to sell these prior to moving has failed. Now that the hellstorm of moving is subsiding, at long last, here are photos for your perusal:

To answer some FAQ's, the prices do include shipping to the lower 48, and neither bass comes with a case. I've had interest, but both are still available.

Still here...anyone? Only letting these go because I bought a "real" neck-thru T-bird. If you dig the styling, you will not be disappointed by the quality of either of these - top-notch fit and finish.
