Thumbs up FS: Dingwall ABI 5-string Afterburner, MUST SEE!!

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a Like New Dingwall ABI 5-string Afterburner w/ Case. This bass seriously plays and sounds AMAZING!! I love it… Super resonant and defined all the way up and down the fretboard, these Dingwall basses are really something! This bass is so light, weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. Has upgraded face dots, and comes with the updated FD-3 pup and the intuitive stock ABI passive system.

This bass has so many great sounds, and covers modern and vintagey sounds well with added clarity to everything you play. As most everyone knows the B string is fantastic on these. This bass is ridiculously easy to play, and I took literally two minutes to adjust and have enjoyed it from there on out.

Features:
· Beautiful Alder Body
· Natural Finish
· Maple neck with Wenge fretboard
· Weighs an amazing 7lbs 14 oz., Very light!
· Upgraded subtle Fingerboard dots
· Black Hardware
· ABI’s intuitive Passive electronics
· Super easy playability with superb action
· Updated FD-3 Pickups
· Dingwall tools and paperwork
· Dingwall supplied SKB Freedom Case

More info can be found Here at Dingwall’s website

Again, this bass could easily pass for a new instrument. Not a mark or a ding the bass. Comes with the Freedom hard case and all the other goodies.

I’m asking $1375 plus reasonable shipping to USA, Canada and beyond!

PM me or email at erdawe@yahoo.com
I do my best to describe my items, but I’ll be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks for all the kind words, Dingwall's entry level bass isn't very entry level at all.

Anyway, all PM's/Email replied to... oh, and here's the more pics, as promised.

Yours is a bit of a custom job with the off-centered fret markers. Really cool.

I bought it but I'm not sure I'll keep it since I'm loving my Sadowsky RV5.

I should get it monday so keep an eye out in case I decide to flip it.

I've owned one before. I really liked it but my sadowsky is just killer. It'll be hard to beat that out.

Haha keep both..
Seriously they're different enough to warrant it.

Also, my bass senses are telling me that you'll get it sooner than you think.

Unfortunately not. It'll probably be scheduled for delivery tomorrow but since my office isn't open they'll re-schedule and fedex home doesn't deliver on mondays so i'll get it tuesday.

Well scratch that, I didn't know your office was closed. Still Tues. is not so bad, maybe it'll make you anxious for it more.

I hate fedex home. There are actually security guards at the office who can take shipments but fedex home will list the item as "out for delivery" and then update the status as "delivery attempted" over the weekends but in reality they never even attempt. Several times I've worked on saturdays expecting a shipment and have notified security and while I'm there, I see the status changed with a delivery exception. The drivers are just lazy...
