Trade Feeler: Dingwall Super J - Candy Apple Red / Maple

Sign in to disble this ad
Newer Super J in near mint condition. Candy Apple Red with matching headstock option and Hipshot bass extender. 5 piece maple neck with maple board. Aguilar OBP-1 preamp and FD-4 pickups. Weighs 9lb 2oz. Strung with a fairly fresh set of Elixir Nanoweb .045-.105. Tools, and documentation from Dingwall and Hipshot will be included and shipped with your choice of Dingwall gig bag or SKB Freedom case. Plays and sounds like a Super J should.

Originally posted for sale to fund purchase of another Dingwall which is no longer available, hence the change to trade feeler. Looking for a 5 string long scale Dingwall. Can trade up down or even for the right bass.

More photos can be seen at this link: http://s760.photobucket.com/albums/x...per%20J%20CAR/

I will answer any questions to the best of my ability. Thanks for looking.

Already have one or I'd be all over this. Good price, too. I absolutely love the neck on these.

I know I could look it up at Dingwall, but how does the scale vary on the 4 string models? Is it 35 on the E and 31 on the G? I forget.

FS - Dingwall Super J - CAR/Maple

My trusty yardstick and poor eyesight give a spread of about 34-1/2" to 32" from the E to the G. Love the maple board - plays like a dream.

Trusty yardstick is trusty!
G=32.00
D=32.75
A=33.50
E=34.25
B=35.00 if you had a B on this Super J.

these measurements apply to the Super J only. The other Dingwall basses are all 2" longer scale.

Wish I had the cash for a 4 string Super J or P/J. Gonna have to stick to my AB2 for now.

I hear that. If I had the funds I would just buy the 5 'er I'm looking at and keep this as well. After all, you can never have too many, Right?

Sorry, Was originally only looking to trade, price outright would be $1900 shipped to lower 48. Outside lower 48 contact me with shipping address and I can work up a price for you.
Thanks for looking

About 90% sure its Alder. Upgrades are the Aguilar OBP-1, the Hipshot Bass Extender and the matching headstock.
