FS: DiPinto Belvedere Like New (gold)

Hello. I bought this at a guitar show during SXSW this past March. I am the 1st owner. It is in as-new condition. Price is $400.00 plus shipping & boxing (actual costs).

The bass plays great and is super for that hollow, skank-kind-of tone. Lots of highs (offset by the D'Add. flats) mixed with a pronounced thump. It is very light, and this is offset by the very stout TKL OHSC. The bass comes with the original hangtag/ warranty card unmolested (and allen wrenches + useless 1/4" cord).

Please PM me with any questions regarding this bass. If you are looking for a wanky, fun bass that plays a lot better than it should look no further; this is yours.

The tone on these basses is unreal. They can pretty much do it all depending on strings and how you play. One of the best rock Jazz bass tones with roundwounds and killer thump with flats!

Bump for a great deal!

It looks like there is a fairly substantial neck angle. Is the neck shimmed to create the back tilt, or is that just the way the neck pocket is routed?

All is as it should be. That's the way the neck is routed. The pick-ups follow that line. Pretty interesting design, really.

The look can be deceptive. It can put out some heavy tone!

True. Thanks.

I will look at trades as well. I am long on basses but will consider gear etc.
