Black Early 90’s MIM Fender Black Label P-Bass. This is a great bass. It plays and sounds great and has a wonderful natural “relic” start to it. Licensed by Schaller Tuners. 8.8LBS according to the bathroom scale.
It’s seen its fair share of use and abuse but it is still a very solid player. When I picked this up the neck was full of dings, nicks, scrapes, and yes, even a cigarette burn. I went through it, filled all the blemishes with CA glue (I did leave the dings in the headstock) sanded it smooth and refinished it. The result is a neck that has the appearances of being well used but it has a nice smooth feeling to it.
I left the body alone keeping all the dings and nicks in it. I think that it has a great look to it. There is a crack in the finish near the neck pocket but it does not go into the neck pocket and is only visual. The pickups are original but the pots have been replaced with new 250k CTS pots. The black pickguard is not original but it has just as much player wear on it to match the rest of the body. The knobs are some black knobs I had laying around. They are not a perfect match but I can offer up a few different options that the buyer may like better.
Truss rod works great and it comes with a cheap gig bag. $250 shipped CONUS or $225 if you’re local to the Minneapolis area.
I would be interested in trading for a 5-string or something different or unique in a 4-string. A Yamaha or G&L would really catch my attention.

Bump for added trade options. I would be interested in trading for a 5-string or something different or unique in a 4-string. A Yamaha or G&L would really catch my attention.
