1986/87 EBMM SR4 trans-teal/maple

I love this bass but I mostly play J's and P's. I've owned the bass for about a year or so. Low action, straight neck, sounds like a Sting Ray should. Apparently, the bass is too old for the EB serial database, but as luck would have it, I found the serial number on www.musicmanbass.org. From the site:

Body 6 Nov 1986. Pots dated 1983. Too early for Ernie Ball data base. 3 Band EQ. As 3EQ was introduced 1987, this instrument would have left the factory 1987. 4 bolt neck. Pre-Flea bridge. Trans Teal with Maple. White pg. Older style logo. No rear decal on headstock.

Although it is quite beautiful, it's not museum quality. The bass has been played (for a reason) and it shows. There are no structural issues or cracks but there are plenty of dings and scratches. I tried my best to photograph everything.

$900 shipped and insured via FedEx ground in the 48. Ships in a newer black, tolex HSC and I pack very well. Not looking for trades unless it's REALLY worth it on my end. If you have any questions or picture requests, post or pm me, please. Thanks for looking!

Cool bass...if this were a two band I'd buy it.
